Launceston, the regional hub of Northern Tasmania, Australia's
island state, enjoys a rich natural and social history.  Located at
the head of the picturesque Tamar Valley, the Launceston region is
renowned for its award winning wines, gourmet dining experiences,
magnificent natural features and friendly residents.

Launceston City Council has a  permanent full time position
available for a Conservator Objects to work with the Queen Victoria
Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG).

We welcome applications from suitably qualified Conservators with
experience in objects conservation. Applicants must have a tertiary
qualification from a recognised conservation training program and
have a thorough knowledge of conservation ethics, principles and
practices.
