The Heritage Conservation Centre (HCC) of Singapore is recruiting an
Assistant Conservator or Conservator in the specialised areas of
paper conservation (1 position).

You will be working in the first purpose-built Heritage Conservation
Centre in Southeast Asia with the opportunity to conserve a range of
paper - based artefacts including documents, maps, photographs,
books, ethnographic, paper works and works of art on paper in our
collections. You will also coordinate and participate in preventive
conservation projects and exhibition planning teams from the Asian
Civilisations Museum, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art
Museum / 8Q and The Peranakan Museum.

If you are a graduate from a recognised conservation training
programme, with at least 8 or more years (Conservator position,
fresh graduate will be considered for Assistant Conservator
position) of relevant practical work experience in a museum or
similar institutions. You should be able to communicate effectively
in English. In addition, you should be a disciplined and
self-motivated individual, a good team player but also able to work
independently. Ability to adapt quickly to a diverse environment is
also required.

The standard contract duration is based on minimum of 2 + 1 years.
This is however negotiable. An attractive remuneration, relocation
