Subject: Conference: Conservation--past, present, future (CF10)
Conservation - past, present, future (CF10) The Institute of Conservation's first ever conference will be held in Cardiff on 24-26 March 2010, considering the broad theme of UK Conservation - past, present, future. Bookings for the conference will close on the 12 March 2010 to allow us to finalise catering and other administrative arrangements. If you are planning to attend please book soon. Places for the conference reception on the Thursday night in Cardiff Castle are limited due to the size of the venue. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Places on this event are nearly sold out so that is another reason to book now. The welcome reception on Wednesday night is not affected. The first full day of the conference will comprise of a plenary session that will focus on the two themes--'evidence based decision making in conservation' and 'a sustainable future for UK conservation'. The second day will provide the opportunity for the Icon groups to host specialist half day seminars.
