Call for CAC Awards Nominations

The deadline has also been extended to Sunday, February 28,2010

The Canadian Association for Conservation Grants and Awards
Committee is extending the deadlines for the 2010 Charles Mervyn
Ruggles Award and the 2010 Emerging Conservator Award, to Sunday,
February 28, 2010. If you know of a colleague who has been a mentor
and outstanding contributor to the fine art conservation profession
in Canada, please consider nominating that person for a Charles
Mervyn Ruggles Award. How about a Canadian student who deserves
national recognition for excelling in his/her studies? That person
may be the perfect candidate for an Emerging Conservator Award.
Recipients of these Awards will be celebrated at the 2010 CAC Annual
Conference. Nominees must be members in good standing of the CAC and
have made an outstanding contribution to the profession or field of
study. Posthumous nominations may be considered for the Ruggles
Award; providing the nominee was a member of CAC during his/her
career. Details and nomination forms are available on the CAC
website, or hardcopies may be requested from the CAC office.
Questions relating to these awards should be directed to Grants and
Awards Committee member Tracy Satin at tsatin<-at->kelownamuseums<.>ca or
call 250-763-2417 ext. 26. Call for CAC Grant Applications
