Spring Midwest Regional Conservation Guild Meeting March 19-21, 2010 The Midwest Regional Conservation Guild's Spring 2010 Meeting will be held at the newly reinstalled Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) the weekend of March 20, 2010. The general meeting topic is Shifting Sands: Changes in the Perception of Ethics in the Implementation of Conservation Treatments. The meeting will start Friday evening 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. with an open house and reception in the DIA Conservation department. Saturday morning registration and coffee hour start at 8:30 a.m. A half-day workshop on acrylic paints by Mark Golden begins at 9 am. The business meeting will take place during lunch on Saturday with more talks scheduled in the afternoon. On Sunday, coffee will be provided at 8:30 a.m. with presentations starting at 9:00 and concluding by noon after a tips session. Presenters include: Keynote speaker Joyce Hill Stoner, Suzanne Davis, Claudia Chemello, Cathy Selvius Deroo, Thomas Edmondson, Katie Etre, Gersil Kay, Melinda Keefe, Harold Mailand, Henry Travers Newton, Marcia Steele and Christine Young.
