The Washington Conservation Guild presents the sixth meeting of the 2009/2010 season. Please join us Thursday, March 4, 2010 for our Intern Talks featuring: Angela Duckwall, a third year intern from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation is currently at the Textile Museum. Her talk is entitled: "Broadening Perspectives: An intern's experience with community consultations." "Steven Villereal, a recent graduate from NYU Moving Image Archiving and Preservation Program is currently the Audiovisual Archiving and Preservation Fellow, University of Virginia. His talk is entitled: "Assessing and Accessing Archival AV Content at the University of Virginia." Anna Friedman is a graduate of University of Texas, Austin and a Book and Paper Conservation Fellow at the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. Her talk is entitled: "Relative flexibility of adhesive films from various mixtures of gelatin and Aquazol 50: Preliminary results." The meeting will be held at The National Archives 700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington DC, 20408. 5-5:45 reception 6-6:45 lectures Important: Please enter through the special events entrance located at Constitution Avenue and 7th Street NW (across from the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden).
