Questionnaire on retouching unvarnished acrylic emulsion paints

I am a student in the MA in conservation and restoration of painting
at the Ecole Superieur des Arts Saint Luc in Liege, Belgium. My
theses for the final year will be about retouching unvarnished
acrylic emulsion paints. Acrylic paint doesn't have the same gloss
then traditional oil paint and they are more sensitive to organic
solvents therefore, retouching media used for retouching for oil
paints, like Paraloid B72 or Laropal A81, are often not
appropriated. Painting restores use many different kind of binders
to overcome the shortcomings of those used for oil paintings when
retouching acrylics: water colors, methylcellulose, binder +
additives such as micro-wax to obtain a mat appearance,

The aim of my research is to evaluate techniques used by
professionals in the field of conservation and restoration for
retouching acrylic paintings. Reversibility, aging effect as well as
optical features will be some of the qualities evaluated during the
research. Some other binders, such as acemat or aquasol could also
be tested.

Your professional experience will be very precious for me and I
would be very grateful if you could reply to the following
questions:
