Time is running out to register for the online course "Digital
Photography 101 for Conservators" with Yosi A. R-Pozeilov. This
workshop will run from February 18-March 18 in order to meet the
needs of conservators who want to learn how digital photography can
be used in their profession. "Digital Photography 101" provides
readings, case studies, presentations, and exercises to help you
learn the basic principles and terminology used in digital
photography and processing. Online discussion forums allow you to
draw on the combined experience of other participants and the course
facilitator. Best of all, "Digital Photography" comes to you. All
you need is a computer with Internet access and you are ready to
learn.

The course will cover:

    The components of a digital image
    How conservators are using digital photography and some of the
    ethical issues involved
    Processing tips and guidelines
    How digital image sensors work
    Storing and archiving digital images
    Techniques for photographing two- and three-dimensional subjects
