The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation (FAIC) will be hosting several exciting hands-on and online workshop this year: (*) Digital Imaging with Dawn Heller and Tim Vitale Wilmington, DE April 20-23, 2010 (*) Hinging and Matting Oversized Works with Hugh Phibbs Milwaukee, WI May 11, 2010 Mastering Inpainting with Debra Evans and James Bernstein Shepherdstown, WV June 28-July 2, 2010 (*) Conservation of Outdoor Sculpture with Katharine Untch San Francisco, CA July 20-23, 2010 Artist Pastels: History and Use with Thea Burns Buffalo, NY August 4-6, 2010 (*) Characterization of Silver Gelatin Photographs with various instructors organized by Erin Murphy New York, NY September 30-October 1, 2010 (*) With financial support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, FAIC offers scholarships up to $1,000 to help defray registration and travel expenses for participants in the FAIC workshops supported by NEH.
