First announcement Cultural Materials X-Radiography 2010 Short course on Imaging Techniques, Interpretation and Digitisation Archaeological Sciences, University of Bradford, UK. 11-13 May 2010 Course directors: Dr Sonia O'Connor and Jason Maher Another chance to attend this successful and well-established three-day course at the University of Bradford. Aimed at conservators, finds researchers and anyone who works with or commissions x-radiographic images, the course covers X-ray generation, safety, image optimisation, interpretation, digitising and digital image processing as well as techniques for specific types of artefact, including paintings, ceramics, textiles, metals, bone, archaeological assemblages etc. The course has been updated to encompass recent developments in digital image capture. Taught by experienced University staff and invited specialists, the course includes hands-on sessions in our computer suite and X-ray facility.
