Conservation Officer Collections Conservation and Care Pay rates currently under review - circa UKP25,000 pa Short Term Contract The Horniman Museum is offering a short term contract for four months. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced objects conservator to work in the Collections Conservation and Care Section. The work will concentrate on conserving and preparing objects for two new temporary exhibitions, one focusing on Dance in Bali, the other and exhibition in association with the Olympic year called 'The Body Adorned', along with ongoing work towards the Review of the Environmental Control Strategic Study carried out in 1992. Applicants should have a good range of post-qualification practical experience which encompasses the care, documentation and treatment of a wide range of organic and inorganic objects in a museum environment.
