The Conservation Department of K20K21 Kunstsammlung
Nordrhein-Westfalen, Dusseldorf is seeking a recent graduate to
undertake a project involving the assessment, documentation and
preservation of the museum's time-based media collection. Time-based
media conservation is responsible for works of art involving a
video, film, audio or slide component.

To apply, you will need a recognised qualification in conservation
and should be at an early stage in your career. Experience in the
conservation of time-based media works of art and their hardware is
desirable, an interest in technology a must. The project aim is the
documentation, the re-housing and the development of standards for
the preservation of time-based media works of art ranging from the
1960s to the present.

The successful applicant will gain experience working with a wide
variety of objects in a busy program serving two museum sites, K20
and K21.

The position is available from March 2010, the tenure is one year
with an optional second year. Compensation includes salary and a
