Oversize drawings

If readers of the DistList know of good publications, or accessible
unpublished information, that might be useful in designing protocols
for the handling, storage, exhibition, shipment, or treatment of a
collection of hundreds of full-size cartoons for large church
windows, I would appreciate their suggestions.  The drawings have
been rolled in storage for some time and are believed to be mostly
late 19th and earlier 20th century, English.  Their conditions
probably vary.
