Field/Objects Conservator American Research Center in Egypt Karnak Temple Luxor, Egypt 2-8 months The American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) is seeking a field/objects conservator. Responsibilities include the condition survey, simple treatment, and storage protocol of approximately 16,000 stone fragments dating to the Akhenaten period that are stored in Karnak Temple in Luxor, Egypt. Candidates with a MA in conservation and field experience are preferred. The position is suitable for a conservation student, post-graduate or junior conservator who is willing to travel and work under minimum working facilities. Salary commensurate with experience and salary history.
