The central theme of the Conference will be all subjects relating to
the technical study of Old Master paintings and the history and
technology of painting materials and techniques, research topics
which have been the focus of the National Gallery Technical Bulletin
over the last thirty years. The overall programme of papers should
prove of interest to conservators, curators, art-historians and
scientists working in the heritage and museum fields.

If you would like to contribute a paper to the Conference, please
submit an abstract of no more than 500 words by email to
tbconference2009<-a t->ng-london< . >org< . >uk by 12 December 2008. Further
