The BAPCR is delighted to announce a fun evening of discussion,
shared experiences and networking as part of our traditional
Christmas party.

Dr Aviva Burnstock, Head of the Department of Conservation and
Technology at the Courtauld Institute of Art, will present an
overview of recent technical studies into impressionist paintings
looking particularly at pigment change, the influence of grounds and
their deterioration and issues related to unvarnished pictures.

This evening will be of particular relevance to those interested in
the technical study of materials and techniques in paintings but is
also intended to be an enjoyable and informative event for all our
members to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas period with
canapes, drinks and plenty of mince pies.

Refreshments: Price includes canapes after the lecture. There will
be a cash bar before and after the meeting

Cost:
UKP6 to BAPCR, ICON members and concessions
    UKP11 for everyone else
