Gustav Berger photo of reversing wax lining

Mr Berger did some very innovative work, rethinking how paintings
are relined. In 1978 he gave a talk at the ICOM-CC meeting in
Venice showing the effect of wax impregnation on canvas, and the
effects of reversing the treatment. One of the slides he used showed
the wax filaments remaining after reversal, and indeed after
dissolving the canvas itself.

Unfortunately when I asked him about this, he was not able to find
the slide in his collection. The conclusion was that he had lent it
to someone and it had not made its way back. This is a shame since
the archives that he and his wife kept will be an invaluable record
of major advances in conservation technique.

Does anyone have a copy of this photo, or know where one might be?
