Co-editors: call for expressions of interest

Since 2002, the BROMEC (Bulletin of Research on MEtal Conservation)
has established itself as the ICOM-CC Metal WG's communication
medium for outlining metal conservation research activities in the
periods leading to the Metal WG's Triennial meetings (next scheduled
for 2010).

The BROMEC requests expressions of interest from conservation
scientist/s or conservator/s with fluent written French and/or
Spanish to become co-editors from Jan/Feb 2009 (BROMEC 28) onwards
on a quarterly basis. The new co-editor/s would also take
responsibility for assembling and co-ordinating a team of
translators for French and/or Spanish issues of BROMEC.

If you feel that you can assist with copy-checking the technical and
language content of the abstracts and fulfill the role of inspiring,
enlisting and co-ordinating a team of abstract/announcement
translators (French or Spanish) for the BROMEC then please contact
off-list:

The final submission date for expressions of interest is Friday 21
November 2008.

If you prefer to play a role in supporting one of the new
co-editors, by assisting with translations, then please also contact
the above.

Such initiatives require voluntary support from dynamic members of
the ICOM-CC Metals Working Group. By sharing these tasks around the
Metal WG we hope the content of BROMEC will be read by even more
conservation professionals worldwide.
