Workshops on collections care

Focus on Collections Care Workshop Series
University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ
November 11-13, 2008

Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC) will be presenting a three day
workshop series designed for institutions with material-based
collections. Staff involved in collections care stewardship, policy
making, exhibition development, installation, and students in degree
related programs are encouraged to attend.  A selection of workshop
titles will be offered to allow participants to select the training
topics appropriate to their needs and experience levels.  New
workshop titles include:  Preserving Museum Collections 101,
Preserving Museum Collections 201, Preserving Museum Collections
301, Care of Collections: Books, Care of Collections:  Textiles, and
Care of Collections: Paper and Photographic Materials.  Participants
may also enroll in the new three day intensive Emergency
Preparedness Intensive for Material Collections.
