A colleague has suggested Benchmark Catalog who supply the
following

Felt Tape (click on the link to see Felt Tape Oddy Test Results)

Our adhesive-backed black felt tape, now of acrylic fiber rather
than polyester. We have had it cut into widths of 1/4 inch, 1/2
inch and 1 inch (6.25 mm, 12.5 mm, and 25 mm). The framers among
you have requested these widths. Prices quoted below are per order.
There are three 50 foot long rolls per order (therefore totalling
150 feet)

    31-130-3/50
    1/4 inch wide x 150 feet
    (6.25 mm x 45.72 m)
    $21.95

    31-131-3/50
    1/2 inch wide x 150 feet
    (12.5 mm x 45.72 m)
    $24.95

    31-132-3/50
    1 inch wide x 150 feet
    (25 mm x 45.72 m)
    $32.95

Hope this helps,
