Assistant Conservator (time-based and electronic media)

is seeking an assistant conservator to join the Conservation
Department, which is a part of Museum and Exhibition Technical
Services, for a twelve-month assignment.

This full-time position will be involved with the treatment and care
of the Museum's Collection, outgoing loans and exhibitions and
reports to the senior conservator.

The position requires a degree of a recognized conservation training
program or equivalent. Candidates should demonstrate excellent
analytical skills and technical ability. Persons who recently
graduated are welcome. Conservators with experience in the field of
contemporary art are especially encouraged to apply. Good
familiarity with media art and understanding of the field of
time-based or digital art is an advantage.

Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and work well
both independently and as a part of a team.

Very good German and English language skills are for his position
strongly required.

This position is a one-year term appointment with a possibility of
an extension for another year.
