Subject: Call for papers--News in Conservation
Lucy Wrapson, a paintings conservator based in Cambridge, UK has been appointed as the new editor of News in Conservation, taking over from Christina Rozeik. IIC wishes to thank Christina for all her hard work launching and editing the newspaper. News in Conservation is an exciting departure for IIC. Published six times a year (in February, April, June, August, October and December) and distributed free to members, it updates the IIC Bulletin with a new format and expanded content, including full colour pictures. News in Conservation aims to provide a place where conservators worldwide can share opinions, news and information as well as news from the IIC Council and regional groups, job vacancies, conference listings and notices. It also has a mixture of news stories, features, interviews and other articles relating to all aspects of conservation in every issue. An electronic version of the newspaper appears on the website after publication, and is freely downloadable by members on <URL:http://www.iiconservation.org> News in Conservation aims to continue to reflect IIC's diverse worldwide membership. In order to do this, please get involved with the IIC and News in Conservation by sending in news of your projects, research or ideas for NiC to Lucy at news<-a t->iiconservation< . >org *** Conservation DistList Instance 22:13 Distributed: Monday, September 1, 2008 Message Id: cdl-22-13-002 ***Received on Thursday, 28 August, 2008
