Access all Areas: One day seminar on new display materials/ techniques and providing access to collections. National Conservation Centre Liverpool 13 November 2008 A joint ICON Archaeology and Care of Collections Group event The day will provide an informative and enjoyable insight into how large and small organisations have tackled the issue of access. From the use of cases and construction to planning accessible storage displays. It will look at diverse collection types with an emphasis on the archaeological. 'Access all Areas' will provoke discussion and is open to all involved with the care of collections. There will be speakers talking about projects at Museum of London, Glasgow Museums, National Conservation Centre, Liverpool and York Archaeological Trust. There will also be an opportunity to look at displays in Liverpool. Early bird booking rate bargain: Book before 1 October 2008 and the event only costs UKP30, including lunch. Booking after 1 October 2008 the event costs UKP50. Places are limited so booking early is advised.
