As Project Paper Conservator you will work to conserve the
Gillespie, Kidd and Coia (GKC) Architectural Archive, a section of
the overall project which has been set up to run until 2010. The
architectural firm of GKC is known for the distinctive character of
its post World War II buildings. The archive of this ground breaking
firm was gifted to Glasgow School of Art in 2005 and includes
project files, correspondence, photographs and press cuttings in
addition to the architectural drawings which mainly date from the
1950s to 1980s.

You will be a professionally qualified paper conservator with
relevant practical experience.

You should be well organised and an effective communicator and be
committed to best practice in conservation. An interest in
architecture would be an advantage.

Please refer to <URL:> for further
information and an application form.

Closing date for submission of completed applications forms:
18 August 2008.
