Cigarette paper for use in conservation

I am looking for references to the use of cigarette paper, such as
Rizla, for infills on works of art on paper. Has anyone used
cigarette paper for treatment? Does anyone know where I could find
the specifications of cigarette paper or analysis of the paper and
its components?
