Call for papers AIC Book and Paper Group AIC Annual Meeting Los Angeles, California May 19-22, 2009 The Book and Paper Group (BPG) of the American Institute for Conservation is inviting abstracts for papers to be presented at the AIC Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California May 19-22, 2009. The two-day BPG program will include one full-day session of formal presentations of twenty-five minutes in length. Papers addressing all aspects of the conservation of books, art on paper and archival materials will be considered. The theme of the conference's general session for 2009 will be "Conservation 2.0-New Directions" where the affect of technology on the field of conservation will be explored and talks reflecting this theme will have particular relevance. Submissions should include the speaker's name, address, email address, a brief, biographical note, the title of the presentation, and an abstract of 300 words.
