Correction fluid

I would like to know if someone has experience with removing
correction fluid (white) on paper. I tried many solvents that work
well to dissolve the correction fluid (thrichloethylene,
ethylacetate) but a white halo remains, as if the pigment were still
on the paper. Does anyone know how to completely remove the
correction fluid?
