Request for proposals--Preservation needs assessment

The following is posted on behalf of the New York State Education
Department (NYSED)

    Call for proposals
    Preservation needs assessment survey instrument and
    implementation plan

    The New York State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking
    proposals for the purpose of developing a preservation needs
    assessment survey instrument and implementation plan, utilizing
    a reliable statistical and representative sample of the New York
    State Library collections. To look at a copy of the Information
    for Bid (IFB), and Submission Document requirements, please see

        <URL:http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/needs/>

    A Questions and Answers Summary will be available to all parties
    that were sent or have requested this IFB at no later than July
    21, 2008.

    Bids are due on August 4, 2008 and must be received at NYSED in
    Albany before 3 pm that day.
