The University of the Arts London announces the next intake  for the
two-year Foundation Degree (FdA) in Book Conservation. The course
run by the Conservation department at Camberwell, has been designed
by the department in close collaboration with the British Library,
and staff from other book conservation departments working in major
cultural institutions.  Practical work placements for second year
students are shared amongst the British Library and other cultural
institutions with book conservation departments. The course was
created to help address the need to increase the number of
conservators specialising and working in the field of book
conservation.

In addition to the FdA Book Conservation degree the following
courses are offered at Camberwell College of the Arts, University of
the Arts London

BA Conservation (Organic)  Three year full time Postgraduate Diploma
Conservation  (Paper)  One year, full-time MA Conservation (Books
and Paper) One year, full- time or part-time

The undergraduate courses start the week commencing 29 September
2008
