Full time, temporary contract for 6-9 months

We are seeking an excellent practical conservator to cover the
maternity leave of the permanent postholder. This is a full time,
temporary appointment, initially for a period for 6 months, up to a
maximum of 9 months. You will have a good understanding of materials
and treatments, be able to work on a diverse range of works of art
on paper, and will be informed and knowledgeable about professional
conservation issues. You will have a degree (or equivalent) in a
relevant subject, plus a professional paper conservation
qualification and proven relevant work experience. A good
communicator and team member, you will be organised, methodical,
adept at problem solving, and will have good ICT skills.
