Museum Textile Services <URL:http://www.museumtextiles.com> is
pleased to reprise our popular one-day intensive workshop on
building, modifying, and dressing forms for historic costume.
Archival use of manikins, dress forms, T-bars, and custom foam
mounts will all be presented. Participants may bring an item of
clothing and the form on which to mount it. You can then leave the
class with your form professionally prepared and ready for
exhibition. A limited number of dress forms and costumes are
available for practice if you do not wish to bring your own. The
workshop is taught by Camille Myers Breeze, Director of Museum
Textile Services. All skill levels are invited. Advanced
registration is required.
