Washington Conservation Guild

The Washington Conservation Guild presents the final meeting of the
2007/2008 season

Please join us Thursday, May 1, 2008 for our Business Meeting,
Elections, and Tour of Hillwood

Come and make sure we have a quorum for the elections! We will have
drawings for Door Prizes, a Slide Show from the past 40 years of the
Guild, an opportunity to quickly and easily Renew your membership,
plus we will be unveiling the Guild's new Website.  And after all
our hard work is done there will be an opportunity to tour the House
and Gardens.

The meeting will be held at:

    Hillwood Museum and Gardens
    4155 Linnean Avenue, NW
    Washington, DC 20008

5-5:45 pm       reception
5:45-6:45 pm    business meeting, elections
                (and awarding of door prizes)
6:45-8 pm       docent-led tour of the Mansion, self-guided
                wandering in the Gardens

This event is free to WCG members, $5 for guests and non-members

Free parking is available in the Museum lot. The closest Metro is
Van Ness on the Red line.

Walking instructions from Van Ness: exit on east side of Connecticut
Ave (southbound). Walk south to third left at Upton Street. Follow
Upton to right on Linnean Ave. (at bottom on hill). Enter Hillwood
at first gate on the left. Allow 15-20 minutes.
