The opportunity to work in a well-appointed, purpose-built
conservation studio in Norwich, in Norfolk County Council's new,
award-winning Archive Centre, has arisen. The Norfolk Record Office,
one of the largest local authority archive services outside London,
has been awarded three stars in The National Archives'
self-assessment programme and its entire collection of twelve
million items has been Designated by the Museums, Libraries and
Archive Council as being of outstanding importance.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and competent addition to
our conservation team of three. You will have a recognised
qualification in paper conservation and a minimum of one year's
practical working experience. Reporting to the Senior Conservator
you will have the skills and knowledge to plan and document your
work, develop and execute treatment options and work within ethical
guidelines.
