Subject: Flooring
The Toronto Reference Library has a small gallery space. It currently has carpet flooring in need of replacement. There is some consideration being given to replacing it with hardwood flooring. We are interested in knowing the pros and cons of this type of flooring in a gallery (noise, wear and tear issues, effects on environment, type of wood etc.). If anyone could please offer an opinion or if there is something other than hardwood that would work well, we would appreciate any feedback.
