The parchment collection of the Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation, in
Lisbon, was damaged as a consequence of a big flood in 1967.

A great conservation project was coordinated for several years by
Victor Milheirao who is now retired.

I spoke with Rui Xavier from the Conservation Department and he will
be pleased to give you useful information for your project. You may
