one day seminar on adhesives for natural history specimens

    Conference Sessions to include

    Adhesive types - water soluble, acrylics, thalasso-, animal
    glues, epoxy resins, HMG range

    Bonding of adhesives to surface types: protein, connective
    tissues (e.g. bone), cellulose, geological including  minerals.

    Strength of bonds, possibilities of molecular
    cross-linkage--strong bond but may deteriorate substrate

    Suitability and applications for various adhesives

    Removal and reversibility of adhesives

    Application as gapfills and consolidants

    Question/Answer Session

Free entry and expenses paid to speakers from UK, free entry and
expenses negotiable from outside of UK
