4 Short-Term Internships in Objects Conservation
1 Short-Term Internship in Textile Conservation

The Conservation Department of the Museum of Ethnology Vienna is
offering 4 short-term summer internships in the conservation of
organic objects and 1 short-term summer internship in the
conservation of textiles, beginning July 14, 2008 and ending August
22, 2008. The applicants should be students at a recognized
conservation training program and should preferably have at least 2
years of experience in the conservation of ethnographic artifacts.

The interns will examine, document and perform treatments on a
number of Asian objects that are part of the large re-installation
project of the Asian permanent collection of the Museum of Ethnology
Vienna.
