The National Archives and Records Administration seeks qualified
candidates for the following senior management position:

Director, Special Media Preservation Division, National Archives and
Records Administration, GS-1001-15, in Preservation Programs in the
Office of Records Services - Washington DC, has been posted on the
USAJOBS website.  The incumbent serves as a member of the senior
preservation management team and directs the ongoing development,
coordination and management related to the preservation of special
media formats and the preservation reformatting and access to
textual and non-textual archival records and historical materials.
The Director manages preservation and reformatting of dynamic media
(audio, video and motion picture) and the still imaging (microfilm,
photographic and digital imaging) of NARA's diverse and extensive
holdings. The Director provides technical expertise, experienced
management skill, and cost-effective preservation and reformatting
solutions for addressing NARA strategic goals. Vacancy Announcement
