Conservator-Preparator Natural History Museum, London The Palaeontology Conservation Unit (PCU), Natural History Museum, London is currently searching for a Conservator/Preparator. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking conservation/preparation work across the Department and providing specialist advice to other Museum departments. Required qualifications/experience includes at least an undergraduate degree in conservation or the natural sciences with related collections experience, prior professional-level conservation experience in a museum setting, and a experience of laboratory management. IT literacy is also essential as is an understanding of health and safety procedures associated with laboratory work. The Department is looking for a motivated worker who is flexible and capable of working effectively in team-based projects alongside other collection management staff, and capable of providing conservation/preparation support to Department research projects. Some travel is expected and it is preferred the candidate have a valid driver's license. Salary will be within the range from UKP 20,000 to UKP25,000 per annum depending on experience.
