West Dean College, Chichester, England, is to hold its annual open
day on 13 February 2008, providing an ideal opportunity for
prospective students of its acclaimed full-time programmes to visit
the purpose-built workshops and to meet with current students,
tutors and admissions staff on an informal basis.

There will also be tours of the exceptional student accommodation
and staff will be available to offer admissions and funding advice.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a free bus
service between Chichester train station and West Dean College be
will available.

West Dean College, an internationally renowned centre for specialist
training, offers MAs, graduate, postgraduate and professional
development diplomas in conservation, visual arts and making
stringed musical instruments.  Tutors practise at the highest level
in their field and the small groups of students means a high degree
of personal tuition.

It offers a related group of six programmes in conservation: books
and library materials; ceramics and related materials; antique
clocks; metalwork and furniture and related objects.

Its Visual Art programme comprises MAs and diploma programmes in
tapestry and textile art; painting and drawing and sculpture.
Diplomas also available in making stringed musical instruments.

West Dean's diploma programmes and MAs are recognised by leading
public and private sector organisations for their high quality
resources and advanced level skills and are validated by the
University of Sussex.
