Luce Project Assistant Conservator - American Paintings Philadelphia Museum of Art The Philadelphia Museum of Art seeks to fill a full-time, two-year position funded by the Henry Luce Foundation. Reporting to the Senior Paintings Conservator, the Project Assistant Conservator will be responsible for examination and treatment of pre-20th century American paintings from the Museum's collections. Candidates must be able to present treatment experience that demonstrates sound professional judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of practical skill at structural work, cleaning and retouching. The position also requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must have a graduate degree in paintings conservation and at least 3 years of additional professional experience.
