Project Officer - Intangible Cultural Heritage Scientific Officer Grade 3 Australian Museum Temporary full-time Position No. TMP520/06 Total remuneration package valued at up to $83,216 p.a., including salary ($71,611 - $75,411), including employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Responsible for the development of resources and strategies to collect, manage, promote and distribute the museum's intangible cultural heritage data associated with collections. Selection Criteria: Higher degree in anthropology, museum studies or related social science, including research skills. Experience with digital multimedia technologies used in the recording and production of intangible cultural heritage. Experience and capability to travel independently to remote locations in Australia and the Pacific. Experience in handling cultural material and sensitivity to working with cultural issues. Excellent interpersonal and management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in communicating within international forums. Common Selection Criteria also apply.
