Conservation Internships (2) Musees d'art et d'histoire, Geneva The conservation department of the Musee d'art et d'histoire in Geneva (Switzerland) is looking for one or two conservation interns for 2007. Possible specialties are metalwork, archaeology, furniture, preventive conservation or related subject areas. Paintings conservation as well as historic glass and ceramics are excluded. We have some modest funding available for a period of two months for one person, or for two people one month each. To qualify, candidates must be studying for a recognized conservation qualification for which the internship is compulsory. Our working language is French. Even though most of our staff are multilingual, candidates should at least have some basic communication skills in the local language. There is no fixed closing date. The internship(s) will remain available until suitable candidates are found.
