Hours: full time 37 per week
Scale 5, salary range UKP18,450 - UKP20,235 (grade review pending)
Location: County Record Office, Cambridge

In this important role you will manage the work of the conservation
unit, as well as personally undertaking skilled conservation,
cleaning, repair and packaging work. You will also supervise, train
and advise other staff on best practice techniques. In addition you
will lead on the conservation aspects of preparing for a move into
new buildings in 2008, specifying requirements for the conservation
function and environmental monitoring.

With a careful, methodical, patient and tidy approach to work, you
will need a positive attitude to working with the public and
volunteers along with the ability to take the initiative and
organise your own workload.
