"A Public Trust at Risk: Results of the Heritage Health Index"
by Kristen Overbeck Laise, Heritage Preservation

The Heritage Health Index is the first comprehensive survey of the
condition and preservation needs of U.S. collections. The survey,
which released its results in December 2005, was coordinated by
Heritage Preservation in partnership with the Institute of Museum
and Library Services (IMLS) with funding from the Getty Foundation
and other private foundations. Kristen Overbeck Laise is the
director of the Heritage Health Index. She will bring copies of the
publication to the meeting.

Our holiday reception will feature festive foods, including homemade
goodies, and wine provided by Ernie Robertson of Preservation
Glazing, Inc. If you would like to bring some homemade treats to add
to the table, please do!

The event is free for WCG members, $5 for non-members and guests.
