Washington Conservation Guild third meeting of the 2006/2007 season National Trust for Historic Preservation 1785 Massachusetts Avenue, NW The Executive Board Room Thursday, December 7, 2006 5 pm Reception, 5:45 pm Lecture The closest metro is Dupont Circle/Red line Please join us for our annual holiday party and lecture "A Public Trust at Risk: Results of the Heritage Health Index" by Kristen Overbeck Laise, Heritage Preservation The Heritage Health Index is the first comprehensive survey of the condition and preservation needs of U.S. collections. The survey, which released its results in December 2005, was coordinated by Heritage Preservation in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) with funding from the Getty Foundation and other private foundations. Kristen Overbeck Laise is the director of the Heritage Health Index. She will bring copies of the publication to the meeting. Our holiday reception will feature festive foods, including homemade goodies, and wine provided by Ernie Robertson of Preservation Glazing, Inc.
