ConservArt, Inc.

ConservArt Associates, Inc. is seeking a conservator of paintings.
ConservArt Associates is a small private painting conservation
studio in Los Angeles, California.  Our laboratory handles paintings
from institutions and private clients.  The applicant is expected to
have experience in the examination and treatment of paintings from
different cultures and time periods.  While most of the work is done
in the studio, ConservArt also works on many mural paintings and the
successful candidate should be comfortable working on scaffolding
and be able to handle the change in conservation approach that
differences in scale demand.  A degree from a recognized graduate
program in conservation is preferred but not required.  Salary and
benefits will be based on qualifications and background.
