Digital printing

This message is for a colleague that does not belong to the list.
They are producing reproductions of art in their collection for
didactic purposes using large format digital printer, printing on
canvas.  They have had problems with image fading and wish to
increase the longevity of the printed canvas images.  They have
done some research and believe that pigment ink would be more
durable than dye ink.

I would appreciate any information or advice that the more digital
savvy of you can provide.  They would be interested in any feedback.
