National Trust for Scotland
Based in Glasgow and covering the Trust's West Region properties
Salary: UKP23,156

As Scotland's leading conservation charity, The National Trust for
Scotland's collections care and management issues are wide-ranging

the best preventive and remedial conservation whilst remaining
accessible to the public.

In this key role you will promote, co-ordinate and help deliver
preventive conservation to the collections and historic interiors of
all West Region properties. You will influence, inspire and inform
property staff and volunteers and your responsibilities will include
contributing to training, commissioning remedial conservation work,
and participating in small and large-scale conservation projects.

You will have a recognised degree in remedial or preventive
conservation with demonstrable practical experience to include
budget management and project working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Accredited status is encouraged. You will have excellent
communication skills, a pragmatic approach to problem solving and be
a highly-motivated and well-organised strategic thinker. You should
have a genuine belief in, and understanding of, the work of the NTS.
