Paper conservator Museum of Modern Art The Museum of Modern Art seeks a paper conservator to join a team of other museum professionals (curators, photographers and other conservators) to catalogue, conserve, digitally photograph and publish our collection of approximately 2000 German Expressionist prints and drawings. This position will be responsible for the design of a survey form, conducting the survey and carrying out treatments on this collection in preparation for photography and publication. This position, starting in January 2007, is grant funded and renewable for up to three years. Qualified applicants will posses a graduate degree in conservation or its equivalent and at least three years experience. Consideration will be given for candidates with comparable experience in lieu of the degree. This is a two day/week position paying $22,000 annually. Benefits are not included.
