UKP18,509 pa
Design (High Wycombe)

The post is for a fixed term of 30 to 33 months, subject to annual
reviews.

The Faculty of Design has a national and international reputation in
Art and Design education. International partnerships and significant
industry links across all fields give a unique quality to all our
activities. Our AHRC funded Furniture Research Centre is running a
major, innovative project to digitise and disseminate the High
Wycombe Furniture Archive. Key staff are now needed to support this
programme.

You will digitally capture the analogue material (images and
accompanying text) held in the High Wycombe Furniture archival
collection into a standardised catalogued digital format. Funded by
the Arts and Humanities Research Council resource enhancement
scheme, this project is entitled 'creation of HW furniture
electronic archive' (ID No: 119158). You will also prepare the
digitised material for long term preservation and web delivery and
will assist in the cataloguing and management of the digitised
material. Working within the project team you will play a central
role in this important and exciting opportunity.
